
Jennifer always longed to be a multi-tasking star. In her youth Jennifer was fond of a variety of musical styles, mostly Afro-Caribbean styles like merengue, salsa, and bachata. Additionally, she loved popular music like hip-hop pop, pop and R&B. While she was a fan of music and film, the industry of cinema also attracted her. West Side Story, a musical composed by Rita Moreno (1961), was her biggest inspiration. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Jennifer as well as being entertainer as well as a Catholic schoolgirl, was a student for eight years at Holy Family Catholic Elementary School located in The Bronx. After a four-year stay and graduation, she attended Preston High School, an all-girls preparatory school. While at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and was a participant in track and field and tennis. Jennifer spent the majority of her time raising her children in a two-story home located in the Castle Hill neighborhood. Jennifer quit the home of her parents at 18 , to leave. Between the ages of 18 and 18, Lopez worked at a law firm and took dance jobs in the evening.
